I found this to be an excellent beginners video. Margaret Evans technique, style, and pleasant voice make learning pastel a necessity as she draws the student in. The reason I wanted to watch this was for oil pastel demo, and I was hoping to see a landscape demo with oil pastel. Unfortunately she spent maybe 1 minute in them. The videographer planted a photo of an apple directly over the left side of her painting which was frustrating as she wasn't using this apple for her lesson. It was obvious the highlight and shadows were placed differently!
But all in all it was a good video for a beginner.

This video is Great! I've never tried pastels but after watching I'm definitely going to purchase a set of pastels, Margaret, breaks everything down into understandable and easy steps. I highly recommend this video for anyone considering working in pastels.
