I really enjoyed learning all that information about the seven famous artists, things that I never knew. I liked the idea that Mark painted pictures similar to the artists, but didn't use the artist's exact painting. Mark is a terrific artist. His work is amazing. Thanks, Mark.

It is very stimulating to see how other people paint. Challenging. Causes me to rethink my strokes, and become aware of them.

Great video! The instructor showed an extensive understanding of dfferent Masters' styles and technique, and his own paintings that imitate the Masters's styles are awesome! Please consider making more videos in this line, maybe showing different styles of famous contemporary painters. We can all learn a lot!

Wow! Mark Menendez is a fantastic teacher! He really takes us through a direct and easy way of approaching the beautifully classic techniques. Oh God, so many people are longwinded when they teach about old masters' techniques!! But these were all so simple and easy to understand. Mark has a sweet soothing voice as well, with a kind smile and patient demeanor. It all adds to the positive and inspired experience of learning from him. Bravo! … And thank you, so very much!

The video is pure gold. It was just a joy to watch. Mark managed to make all of the masters come to life in a way that makes the Sunday painter feel they can accomplish it as well.

The secret of a good teacher is to make you want more. Art theory has never been this much fun! There is a wealth of information about the different techniques of the Masters featured, plus exercises to help you understand them more, and none of it is boring or difficult despite the material being normally dry rather than inspirational. The practical demonstrations do not show a complete painting from go to whoa, but just enough to show you how the techniques work, so its not overwhelming. Mark Menendez covers a lot of ground, so you will either want to make copious notes, or watch this several times - I would recommend the latter so you don't miss anything!

Simple and clear demo of the various old masters' techniques, suggestions on how to use them in your own artwork. Bonus: simpathy of the teacher

I was in a rut with my art. Mark's easy style of instruction and clear explanations took me back to basics and inspired my all over again. Techniques I thought were "old" have given me ideas for different mediums and even some of my mixed media projects. Can't wait to get painting.
