My Snow Hare is coming along but still needs more work.
My bunny is a bit stretched out. But I did learn to check the display settings when using a tv as monitor. The proportion seemed fine until I tried to draw it.
I had given up on this, but decided to pick it up again. Had to use contour line to establish the bunny, rather than creating it only from the blocked in darks. I couldn’t get the proportions correct. Used Ebony and #7 Mars black pencils.
This one was a bit HAIRY for me. Some problems getting the fur to look like fur. Still always enjoy drawing along with the group.
Watching you sharpen your pencil I realized that I was only using a small area of the graphite and I think that is why it takes me forever to gray my paper. The bunny stayed in the ugly duckling stage for a long time but finally pulled through. Thank you for your great advice.
I loved the subject this week!
Such fun!
Thanks,Scott
Such a lovely subject! Really enjoyed drawing that fellow. Thank you Scott! Urszula
I fixed the proportions.
This was fun, though I forgot to step back from the drawing so my head and breast proportions are off. I used ebony pencil for all of it, white Strathmore drawing paper. It still kinda looks like he’s smiling! Lol!
I think my bunny looks a little annoyed. Another great session, thank you Scott! (Hi-Uni pencils on Canson Bristol.) As always, I over-work it and have trouble erasing cleanly!
Great fun! Managed to get the paw out of the electric socket… sort of. So hare’s the thing. Merci again Scott.
Great class today. White on White challenge. Here’s my drawing using pencil on Strathmore drawing board.
Thank you again for so much support and techniques.
I still need work. How can I improve it?
