Description
Create unique abstract art expressions by using your “self” as a launching point! Artist and acclaimed “Art Doctor” Dean Nimmer will lead you through a variety of fun drawing, painting, and printmaking demonstrations in this video geared toward making art inspired by what something is like, rather than what it looks like.
Instead of simply creating traditional self-portraits, discover ways to use your fingerprints, distorted reflections, dreams, alter ego, and more to help you make great art that’s all about you with freedom, joy, and confidence!
- Loosen up with techniques and media that might be outside your comfort zone.
- Achieve more spontaneity and freedom in your work.
- Gain confidence in your choice to work abstractly.
- Learn to go against your own grain, be a child again, and unchain your sense of humor before it gets away from you!
